We were really hoping to love this hotel, having stayed here 10 years ago and made wonderful memories. Unfortunately, it has gone downhill since then. The Positives: The staff knew it was our anniversary and welcomed us with a bottle of champagne and a thoughtful note—such a sweet gesture. The location is stunning, right on the beach, and our oceanfront room in building 1 had an incredible view. It was wonderful to be able to go for a nice walk down to the market and check out some of the other little shops along the way. The location is fantastic the room service and the service of the waiters and waitresses and the front desk people were also wonderful friendly the rooms yes they could be a little bit updated but they were very very clean not an issue whatsoever and asking for bottled water or extra bottled water for our rooms was not a problem. As expected for the age of the resort. Good value for the price. Short walking distance to Bucerias. Very friendly staff, but no beach or poolside service - must get your own, but no line ups and bartenders were great. No issues and food was much better than we expected. All ala cartes were excellent! And we loved the daily booking system to ensure everyone has an equal chance - and no limits: you can go ala carte every night if you want.
