I’ve stayed in many, many hotels over the years in Yucatan and Quintana Roo and I’ve never had such a terrible experience as I did in this hotel and I’ve never left a reservation before the end of my stay. Let me just save you the trouble and say that every bad review about this hotel, from the arrogance of the front desk receptionist to the reeking rooms is absolutely true. Avoid this place at all costs. It’s a real shame because it’s next to the lagoon and surrounded by nature. I am not a high maintenance traveler, I accept the most basic accommodations and this hotel didn’t even meet that.…

Had a great stay here. I'm a bit confused about the other poor reviews this place has gotten. Not busy at all. Can't swim in the lagoon because of the crocodiles, but excellent view over the water. Everyone that works there was friendly and personable. Comfortable beds. Great pillows. Quiet and tranquil surroundings and design. Within walking distance of the ruins. Definitely would recommend.

Room is clean. Air conditioning. Pool is very nice, plenty of seating also. Free Jamaican water. Mini fridge in room, remember to plug it in.
