The resort is beautifully tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Cancun, making it the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. All of the restaurants were outstanding, but the hibachi experience was hands-down my favorite—great energy, delicious food, and a fun atmosphere. The location is also ideal—just a short distance from the swim-with-dolphins area, which was a huge plus for us. We stayed here June 13 - 17, 2025. The preferred club was excellent. Fast check in, better alcohol, private preferred club pool. The resort was clean and quit beautiful. The staff were excellent. Carlos (our concierge) was great and knowledgeable. The food was good overall but the French restaurant on site was amazing. The room was great size for 2. They asked us what we would prefer in our refrigerator and accommodated it immediately. There was the seaweed though. Lots of seaweed. The beach is unusable at this time of year. Great place! Everything we wanted. Easy to go to restaurants. Plenty of pools and lounge chairs. Room was really nice. One problem, we get up later, and breakfast buffet ran out of a lot of things, closes at 11:00. But the Coco Cafe is the hidden food gem. We also found room service great. Dos XX beer everywhere, but Coors Light only with room service. We ordered the night before and took cold ones from our room. Drinks were not watered down. El puerto — la parte del faro inclinado y el muelle — conserva hoteles pequeños a pasos de una playa tranquila y del arrecife protegido, a 500 metros de la orilla. La colonia, del otro lado de la carretera y a 2 kilómetros del mar, ofrece los precios bajos. Y al norte y sur del pueblo se extienden los grandes resorts todo incluido que explican por qué el precio típico de nuestra base sube a US$233, aunque hay habitaciones desde US$32. En total registramos 25 hoteles con precio real en 2026. Lo honesto: el pueblo es pequeño y tranquilo por diseño — noches cortas, restaurantes que cierran temprano — y el sargazo visita estas playas de mayo a octubre, como a toda la costa caribeña.
