This was without a doubt the coolest place we stayed in our three week trip to Mexico - incredible accommodation, great experiences, and friendly and helpful staff! Some of the negative reviews we read beforehand almost put us off but I'm so glad we ignored them and went ahead as this was a true highlight of the trip.

I booked a room here for my birthday and they canceled my reservation the day before via email. They didn’t even have the courtesy to call me. I had booked two months ahead of time and paid in full. They wanted my bank account number in order to refund my money but I didn’t feel comfortable with that so I had to dispute the charge through my bank.

HOTEL CLOSED & HIDDEN FEES – READ UNTIL THE END!! First of all, I booked a night at this hotel on January 12, 2025, for $430 CAD per night. The moment I clicked on "Reserve," a drop-down menu suddenly revealed an additional $269 in hidden fees, after my booking had already been confirmed. That brought my total to $689 for ONE night! I immediately called to cancel my reservation, as I was insulted by this deceptive pricing. The cancellation fee? $540—just to cancel a stay for February 9, 2025!
