4- and 5-star hotels in Isla Holbox

Holbox is a small island with an intentionally rustic character: streets of sand that flood after rain, few ATMs that run out of notes, and serious mosquitoes at dusk. The water off the shore is shallow and turquoise, made for wading rather than reef snorkelling at your doorstep. Visitors come for that low-key pace and the beach, not for polished resort infrastructure.
