4.4499 reseñasThis Could be a nice hotel BUT the maintenance issues overshadow their hotel. We had to move 3 times because either the AC system was not working, plumbing issues, just something. Staff was very nice but it didn't help. We finally were moved to a working room (AC would not go below 74 degrees) but it only had one double bed, I paid for 2 beds. When I asked for a partial refund, I got a big Fat No! There was a fire right next to this resort, and since then, the property has had electrical issues among other things like lots of construction going on. Owners just do not seem to want to fix it. A…
I stayed for a few nights with my parents and we loved it. The location is great! It's walking distance to town but far enough to not hear the music from the bars all night. The beach is beautiful with many seats and lounges and the hotel bar is amazing for sunset, even has live music some nights. The employees were so friendly. The whole place has such a chilled vibe with hammocks everywhere. We even liked it better than some more expensive resorts down the road. Would definitely book again.
Zomay is an amazing option while staying in Holbox. The location was walkable to town and just far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle- we loved not having to call a taxi or bike if we didn't want to. The staff is friendly and accomodating and went out of their way to make our experience the best it could be- special shoutout to Ricardo for going above and beyond! The bar at sunset is a must. The rooms and beach club (chairs, loungers, umbrellas) could use a refresh and some TLC but nothing that serious that detracted from our stay. We will be back!

Hacia el poniente, rumbo a Punta Cocos, y hacia el oriente, rumbo a Punta Mosquito, la playa se abre y aparecen los hoteles boutique con hamacas sobre el agua — más caros y más silenciosos. Nuestros escaneos de 2026 registraron 47 hoteles con precio real: desde US$38 la noche y un precio típico del orden de US$92. Lo honesto: llegar toma su tiempo — dos horas y media desde Cancún más ferry —, los mosquitos y jejenes aparecen en cuanto llueve, casi todo se paga en efectivo y la isla, cuando se llena, tensa sus servicios. Ese es el precio del paraíso lento.
