Casa Indigo Hotel

The hotel is a traditional Mexican hotel. I stayed on the first floor (ground level) in the furthest room opposite the dining area. It had a little patio with a table, chairs, and some plants which I appreciated a lot. The kitchen in the room was non-functional, but gave me extra space for my belongings. The bed was a bit hard, but the problem was solved by a comfy blanket that was provided when I asked, that I put on top of the mattress. The pillows were a bit old so I used my own. As mentioned before the rooms are horrendous. There's a welcoming smell of mould and moisture when you enter the room. There's mould on walls and in the bathroom. The smell is simply disgusting and the longer we stayed in the room the more intense it got. Towels don't really dry up because of the moisture and the bed felt damp. We stayed 3 nights and were happy that we spent most of the days outside of the room. The breakfast was alright and service was very friendly (which warrants the additional star).

Cheaper than other hotels nearby, well located at walking distance of everything. Rooms are noisy because it's an old building and you can hear other people's toilets flushing and cracking floors. There's no coffee in your room!
