Fiesta Inn San Cristobal de las Casas

This is an honest review base on the price of the hotel. Location is pretty good, very accessible to the main plaza. The rooms are not clean and impeccable, also the carpet look pretty worn, old and dirty. The service could be better for the level of that hotel. The service is pretty good but could be better. As I explain before you expect a high level for that category of hotel.

Hotel is located right off a Main Street and you can hear all the traffic passing by; for you're staying on the second floor you can also conveniently hear all the sound from the gym. We arrived on the 26th of December, San Cristóbal is pretty cold in the winter with temperatures dropping in the 40's at night, our first night in we slept with the window open all night because housekeeping or maintenance failed to close it in the morning after using it for ventilation. One of the best places to stay for a social event at Miraval Garden. There is a good buffet service every morning since 6 a.m. All rooms have heater and vent only. There is no cool air conditioner (you won't need it). Rooms are comfty, you should probably take one in the second building in front reception (not main building). On the other hand it is a little far from downtown, so you will have to spend some money on taxi cabs. Eventhough, it is not a good idea to bring your car to San Cristobal, most of places are very crowded and there is a lot of traffic at downtown with limited parking plac…
