Hotel Palacio is a nice homey hotel. We got a room with 3 beds so we weren't cramped. Hot water available. The town of San Cristobal gets really cold at night. The hotel provided extra blankets for us. Room service is great. The town square is 2 blocks away. Easily 5 minutes walking distance.
We ordered from the hotel a taxi to the airport. We made the reservation a day before. The next day the taxi did not show up and the reception said that it will be arrive just in 20 min. After we have waited for 10 min. They said there are no taxies. We almost missed our flight.
