4.636 reviewsSuch a pleasant 3 night stay at La Palma, super friendly staff that will assist you with whatever you may need, we had a huge and spacious lovely apartment on the end looking over to the pizza restaurant. The pool is lovely and fresh and excellent to cool off. Lots of cheap local taco and Empanadas around the area and only a few blocks down to la playa. Great stay and was sad to leave, could have stayed two weeks more.
Great affordable stay here! Rooms are large and super comfortable! Bed was great! Nice outdoor pool and free coffee in the lobby. Would definitely come back
Great experience overall. Friendly staff, spacious room, and very close to restaurants and the night life. However, if you speak with « Jonathan » be careful, he is very talkative, but I guess this is his nature. The worst part is when he offers to do excursions. Complete lack of professionalism on this part as we took an excursion to Las 3 Islas. We had to pay an extra entrance fee in the first island. The centre, by the ferry dock, holds the budget hotels, the restaurants and what little bustle exists. Westward toward Punta Cocos and eastward toward Punta Mosquito the beach opens up and the boutique hotels appear, hammocks strung over the water — pricier and quieter. Our 2026 scans logged 47 hotels with a real price: from US$38 a night and a typical rate of about US$92. Honestly: getting here takes effort — two and a half hours from Cancún plus a ferry — mosquitoes and sandflies show up the moment it rains, nearly everything is paid in cash, and when the island fills, its services strain. That is the price of slow paradise.
