There are better options closer to town. You'll need to pay for taxi's for going to and from the town center. The building itself was aesthetically OK. There was no heating system during the Jan 2024 winter blast. The staff at the entrance was always awkwardly quiet. It's bad enough I was already worried for my safety since I hadn't traveled to Mexico in over 20 years. I always felt a weird vibe from the staff. They were also unwilling and used every excuse to not honor the complimentary shuttle service. At one point, they said the shuttle broke down and they didn't bother to call me to let me…
Nice place to stay while visiting, location is close to downtown. Restaurant has good selection of cocktails and their strong point is the Mexican dishes (I know, pretty obvious). Rooms are nicely decorated and beds are comfy. Prices are decent.
