When I first checked in and got to my room, I turned on the bathroom sink to wash my hands, and the water came out completely brown for about three minutes before clearing up. I’m not sure if this was due to rusted pipes, but it’s unacceptable. While brushing teeth, they recommend using tapwater which I believe is something they need to list on their hotel website. I’m aware this is common in Mexico however, at my previous hotel there were no water issues I would’ve assumed in 2025 hotel water would be okay to brush with. We like the rooms they are nice and clean but the Sunday buffet was disappointing. The cost of the buffet is high for the quality and service they deliver. We were sat inside the restaurant on a table that was filled with of ants which began to crawl in the food. All that was done to address the issue was that the took the table outside and did not even change the table top or remove the ants. This makes me wonder what type of hygiene and care they use to prepare the food they serve. I would just caution you all to check you tables before you sit and eat.

The place is nice and clean, the rooms are spacious and inviting, but when its time to sleep you realize that the mattress must be from the Flintstone era and literally feels like sleeping on rocks. Got 2 hour sleep and woke up with horrible back pain.
