We loved our stay at Casa Tota! The staff are so nice and friendly. They are ready to make sure you're taken care of. This place is walking distance to a lot of great places in town. And the hotel is very well maintained. Pros: - excellent staff - excellent location - beautiful common areas (pool and corner patio) - very very clean Cons: - bed is pretty firm. NOT SERIOUS. I've slept 1 night at the hotel during August, during the night we realized that there was no remote control for air conditioning in the romm that could not be turned-on. there were 35 degree celsius in that period during the night. My sister had fever. We both could not sleep at all it was extremely hot in the room. I searched for help in the common areas, but there was no one taking care of the hotel during the night that could help. it was a nightmare. It's a nice place to stay. It's just outside of downtown. The rooms are comfortable and clean. It has a bar and a restaurant that are reasonably priced. The only bad thing is, I am not a heavy sleeper, I slept at first with my window opened and lots of dogs barking at night. If you sleep well, then this should not affect you. The rooms do have air conditioners, at the moment it was a cool evening.
