4.01845 reviewsEverything is great but is small, food is not halal/kosher, and employees are not treated right. And the worst part: we booked around 400 rooms and they did not gave us enough points. Besides that it felt like home.
Right next to the airport. There were stains on the floor. The water pressure in the shower was horrible. They only offer shampoo and a bar of soap with no hair dryer. The TV did not work. There was free coffee and tea. When trying to leave at 5:00 am for an early flight, we got stuck because there are gates to enter and exit. The security guard had fallen asleep. Not my worst hotel experience ever, but not the best, either.
3 adults with baby. Was going to do double room but only “suites” were available. We thought it would be bigger but it was in fact smaller than a double room. The price of the room was not worth if for the size. Card to open door started to fail. I informed the staff and all they did was reprogram the card. The card visibly had damages. They did not replace my card. Paid $84 or $1500 mexican pesos. Another hotel would have been better but the pictures are misleading.!
Planning your trip to Toluca
Toluca is the capital's high-altitude neighbour: at 2,660 metres it is Mexico's coldest major city, and its hotels live off work — industrial parks, the State of Mexico government, and an airport that doubles as Mexico City's alternate. The executive hotels group along the airport-Metepec corridor; Metepec, with its pottery-town pueblo mágico, is in fact the most pleasant place to sleep. The Centro, around the arcades and the Cosmovitral stained-glass garden, offers simple rooms at fair prices. Our 2026 scans logged 22 hotels with a real price: from US$50 a night and a typical rate of about US$77, with weekends notably cheaper. Honestly: Toluca is a practical stop more than a destination — the prize is the Nevado de Toluca, whose crater lakes sit ninety minutes away, and the arcades: green chorizo and queue-free museums.
