Our initial room 221 had a clogged toilet and bathroom sink cleared slowly. We were given another room. Thank you! Just that both rooms feel muggy, stuffy inside. Location is okay on a main busy street. Breakfast for Friday morning was tasty! Chilaquiles, toast, orange juice, tea, coffee and cut fruit.
Well, this was a first time here. I can't not compare it with the other brands from the same chain. It's a similar experience, but well, obviously adjusted to the fare you're paying. Personally, this may just be an option for one night. Not for long stays. Spaces are reduced, but let's be honest, it's about half the price in comparison with Suites or Plus. I'm surprised that the only offer single rooms with a queen size bed; and doubles, with two twin beds. Breakfast is included and well location is great. Close to downtown Toluca.
Planning your trip to Toluca
Toluca is the capital's high-altitude neighbour: at 2,660 metres it is Mexico's coldest major city, and its hotels live off work — industrial parks, the State of Mexico government, and an airport that doubles as Mexico City's alternate. The executive hotels group along the airport-Metepec corridor; Metepec, with its pottery-town pueblo mágico, is in fact the most pleasant place to sleep. The Centro, around the arcades and the Cosmovitral stained-glass garden, offers simple rooms at fair prices. Our 2026 scans logged 22 hotels with a real price: from US$50 a night and a typical rate of about US$77, with weekends notably cheaper. Honestly: Toluca is a practical stop more than a destination — the prize is the Nevado de Toluca, whose crater lakes sit ninety minutes away, and the arcades: green chorizo and queue-free museums.
